1 Champagne Mark Finished a nose back from the leader last start at Nakayama when resuming. Draws to do no work and expect to lead. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader. Forward showing no surprise.
2 Dubai Blues Let-up for nine weeks and coming to a new trainer. Capable of racing on speed. Place chance.
3 Can't Wait Won once this prep at Niigata five runs back. Looks the leader but still appears tested.
4 Pod Theo Can't knock the form with two wins from seven attempts this campaign and up in distance. Has a lot of early speed. Right in this.
5 Ask Come On More Let-up for five weeks. Last start winner to break maiden at Chukyo. Has a lot of early speed. Sneaky chance.
6 Meliorem Returns from 10 week let-up and first run for a new trainer. Has been flying of late. Hard to go past.
7 Dee My The Kid In the money last start running third at Nakayama. Has a lot of early speed and down in distance. Not the worst.
8 Gravis Back from let-up and first start for a new trainer. Has genuine early speed but outsider.
9 Michael Pascha Let-up. Has a lot of early speed but Kenichi Ikezoe not a regular jockey for this trainer. Place only.
10 Willem Returns from 10 week let-up. Has a lot of early speed but Hiroshi Kitamura not a regular jockey for this trainer. Cannot entertain.
11 Fabulous Star Resumes after spell of 16 weeks and first run for a new trainer. Has won both races so far. Should go well.
12 Electric Boogie Let-up for six weeks and coming to a new trainer. Looking for a hatrick after winning two in a row at Nakayama and Kokura but still not here.
13 Danon Ayers Rock Resumes from a 28 week spell and first start for a new trainer. Has won both races so far. Tough to beat.
